Took our second annual trip to Death Valley this year and, as always, had a killer time. The first night I drove down to meet everyone late after work at Red Rock Canyon State Park and after a night in the sand under the stars we drove on to Death Valley. Titus Canyon was our first bit of fun after arrival, an awesome drive through the edge of the park that is accessible for just about everybody with a little extra clearance and four or all wheel drive. We drove to the Racetrack Playa and camped at the campground that night, then headed to our favorite little canyon the next morning and scored the same site we had last year right up at the top of it after exploring the old mining buildings.
Waking up the next day we made our way up North and got shut down as far as camping goes for most of the way on 395- there was so much snow on the ground still that we had to go all the way to Bridgeport before we found somewhere to stop for the night. In the morning we hit the local hot springs and went our separate ways to head home.
